Obituary of Fern Slaght

SLAGHT, Fernande (Fern) – Suddenly at her residence on Monday, November 30, 2009, at the age of 68. Beloved mother and best friend of Michelle Slaght and Shawn Ferguson, Sarnia. Cherished Nana to her pride and joy Cailan. Dear sister of Roger (Dianne) Caron, Fredericton, N.B., Gisele (Ron) Simmons, Calgary and Bernard (Patricia) Caron, Toronto. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and her extended family and friends. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Joseph’s Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.
