WING, JOHN MALCOLM QC - Surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care, John Wing QC died peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in his 87th year. Devoted husband of 60 years to Angela (Consiglio). Loving father of Paula (Sam) of Toronto, John Jr. (Dawn) of Los Angeles, Richard (Valéry) of Toronto, Anthony of Calgary and Alexa (Marc) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Rachel Wing of Toronto and Isabel Wing of Bennington, Vermont. Dear brother of Mary Ellen Smith (Tom) of Woodstock. Predeceased by parents Clarence & Gladys Wing. John practiced law 41 years, first in Windsor and then in private practice in Sarnia from 1958-1998. He was a member and past president of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club and served on the Sarnia Public Library Board. A lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, he also enjoyed golf, bridge and the theatre. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The evening visitation will include personal remembrances from family and friends.
