During this time of increased precautions in our communities, we are asking members of the public to help us keep our staff and families we serve healthy. The Ontario Government and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario have issued new mandatory guidelines that will commence on September 22, 2021. All funeral homes must abide by these new guidelines.
If you, or someone you've been in close contact with, have recently travelled we recommend that you do not attend visitation or services at the funeral home within the suggested 14 day period. Those who do attend visitations or services should limit close contact with others, use the provided hand sanitizer and wash your hands before and after greetings. As an alternative, condolences can be left for families through our website, or even on our Facebook page.
We will continue to do our part and follow the advice of our public health authorities, Ontario Government and BAO and consider the health and safety of members of the community we serve. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Family owned and operated since 1946, our legacy of service is built on compassion and going above and beyond the expected. We make it our duty to ensure that each funeral reflects the ideals and personality of the person who has died.
The entire staff at McKenzie & Blundy is dedicated to serving our families with dignity, and in the most professional and caring manner. Personalized service, professionalism, attention to detail and the needs of the families we serve "Before, During and After" the death of a loved one are our most important responsibilities.
We help families celebrate life by creating a "Meaningful Event." A memorial or funeral service that touches everyone present with understanding ... and with love.
