Since 1988, McKenzie & Blundy has arranged to have in excess of 7,000 memorial trees planted. The names of those in whose memory these trees have been planted are displayed on a Memorial Wall at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home.
McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forests are located in the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area and the Perch Creek Habitat Management Area. The first forest was started in spring of 1988. Each year, on the third Sunday of September at 2:00 pm, a dedication service is held to dedicate the trees planted within that year. Everyone is most welcome to attend this meaningful service and the reception following.
