Obituary of Norma McSweeny

McSWEENY, Norma (nee Davis) - On January 28, 2015, peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness, Norma McSweeny died at the age of 67. Beloved wife of George McSweeny. Loving mother of Jennifer Raponi & her husband Marco, Ottawa and James Lukey & his wife Hillary, Illinois. Dear step-mother of Brian McSweeny, Linda McSweeny-Fryer & her husband Bill, Sharon Roebbelen & her husband Peter, and Mara McSweeny & her husband Andrew Shea. Cherished grandmother of Maya Raponi and Liara Lukey. Sister of Eloise Nesbitt (Jack), Sarnia, Jackie Chaytor, Kamloops, Freda Schumacher (Jack) Marysville, Fred Davis, St. Thomas, Peggy Doig (Stephen), Bright's Grove, Jenny Davis (Bob Cooke), Sarnia, Theresa Little, Almonte, Joe Henderson (Debbie) Ottawa, Jim Henderson (Linda), Ottawa and Vickie Davis, Sarnia. Predeceased by her parents Alfred & Emily Davis, sisters Marjorie & Patty and nieces Emily Vanderburg and Bethany Doig. Norma was a loving & giving person, devoted to making everyone happy. She will be missed by many, especially the love of her life, her husband George. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Norma will be held at a later date.
