Obituary of Umberto Iannozzi
IANNOZZI, UMBERTO - Surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Angela. Dear father of Anna Brennan (Frank), Rita D'Andrea (Tony) and Ben Iannozzi. Loving "nonno"� of Dino, Daniella and Derek D'Andrea and Tara, Andrea and Patrick Brennan. Dear brother of Cataldo Iannozzi (Rita) and Anachleto of Italy, Pasqualina and Guillerma of France. Dear uncle of John Iannozzi (Roseanne) and the late Frank Iannozzi. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Italy and France.Predeceased by his parents, Augusta and Beniamino and sister Carmela. Umberto, affectionately known as "Boss"�, was born in 1930 in Italy and came to Canada in 1956 with his wife Angela. He worked for the Labourers Union Local 1089 and spent many years as a custodian for the Lambton County Separate School Board where he was known for the pride he took in his work and his sense of humour. The family would like to thank the staff of the Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit at Bluewater Health and Marshall Gowland Manor for their comfort and caring. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Snyder at St. Peter's Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society, 1121 Wellington St., Sarnia, N7S 6J7 or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd, N7T 4Y1.
