Obituary of Donald MacGregor Corey

COREY, Donald MacGregor - At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, on Saturday, May 26, 2007, Don died peacefully at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (1992). Loved father of Jeff Corey and Janice and her husband Tony Rego. Proud papa of Elizabeth and Katelyn Rego. Dear brother of Maxine and her husband Harold Boyd and the late Ted Corey. Don retired from Esso Chemical in 1986, was the past president of the Imperial Credit Union and was a volunteer driver for the VON until his illness. Don was enshrined into the Sarnia Lambton Sports Hall of Fame for Outstanding excellence in the sport of Football while playing with the Point Edward 1948 O.R.E.U Jr. Football Champions. Don was well known in the bowling community as he bowled in many men's leagues over the years. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Don will be buried at Lakeview Cemetery with a private family graveside service.
