Obituary of Miriam Glew

GLEW, Miriam - At Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Monday, May 5th, 2014, Miriam Glew died at the age of 83. On that day her beloved husband David lost his one true love, best friend and primary collaborator. Loving mother of Michael Glew & his wife Kelly, Ottawa, Richard Glew & his wife Christine, Calgary, Ian Glew & his wife Csop, St. John's, and Jeni McAllister & her husband Steve, Mooretown. Cherished grandmother of Derek, Neil, Liam and Richard Glew and Rob McAllister. Predeceased by her parents and brother. Miriam was a teacher and principal with the Lambton County Board of Education for many years. Following retirement she was a Board Member for the Sarnia & District Humane Society and actively volunteered with the local C.C.A.C. committee. She loved her dogs, gardening and daily walks in Canatara Park. She will be sadly missed. Cremation has taken place. At Miriam's request there will be no service or visitation. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a charitable donation to Sarnia & District Humane Society or charity of choice.
