MORRISSETTE, Elsie - At Afton Park Place on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, Elsie died at the age of 81. Beloved companion of John Barette. Loving mother of Gail and her husband the late Jeff Burgess and Judy Little. Proud grandmother of Edward (Casey) Burgess, Joseph (Jennifer) Burgess, Lindsay, Robert and Corey Ayotte, and Lacey Little and great-grandmother of Taylor, Cameron, Alison, Jeffery, and Olivia Burgess and Skye and Moriah Ayotte. Dear sister of Phyllis (Bob) LeBlanc of Montreal. Predeceased by her brother George Johnson and her sister Edna (Arthur) Walsh. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Elsie was born in Montreal and came to Sarnia in 1982 and was employed as a librarian at Lambton College for many years. Elsie dedicated her time to volunteer with Parkview and Lansdowne Public Schools. In keeping with Elsie's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations the MS Society, 155 Front St. N., Unit 100, Sarnia N7T 7V5.
