THOMPSON, Nathan David - On Tuesday, September 11, 2007, Nathan died suddenly at the age of 9. Cherished son of Shannon and David Thompson. Loved brother of Nicolette, Hunter and Connor. Dear grandson of Heather Taylor, and Mike and Bev Thompson; and great-grandson of Keith and Kathleen Tuohy and Barbara Shortt. Special nephew of Shaun Devereaux, Brittany Devereaux, and Kevin and Thea Thompson. Also survived by many great aunts and uncles, cousins and his special family friend Debra Nantas. Nathan was affectionately known as "Dr. Doolittle" because of his love for and ability to communicate with animals. Nathan attended High Park School and had a passion for sports including basketball, cross country, soccer and baseball. He also enjoyed skateboarding and dirt biking. Nathan will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, September 15th at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Sarnia and District Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St., Sarnia N7T 7W8.
