Obituary of Frank James Mark Walent

WALENT, FRANK JAMES MARK - As the result of an accident on Saturday, November 17, Frank Walent died on Monday, November 26, 2007 at the age of 48. Beloved husband of Gigi Jeanne Genevieve (Lapensee) and dear father of Abigail, Isaac and the late Zachariah Raymond Walent. Dear son of Alice Bellar & her husband John, Bright's Grove. Brother of Bret Walent, and Jeff & his wife Roxanne and their sons Max and Alex, Markham. Step-brother of Christina Fife & her husband John, their children Kyle and Riley Michelle, Marysville and Sheryl Zimmer & her husband Sam and her daughter Briauna, Marysville. Son-in-law of Raymond & Frances Lapensee, Sarnia. Brother-in-law of Colleen Lapensee & her sons Mitchell and Vincent Burr, Mark Lapensee & his wife Janet, their children Kristen, Jennifer, Rebecca and Jamie and Claire Lapensee & her husband Jack Beveridge & her daughter Alicia, all of Sarnia. Predeceased by father Frank and twin brother Floyd. Frank was a good friend of Bill W. for 16 years. He was the founder and proud owner of Walencor Inc. and a long standing member of the Bluewater Anglers. Frank will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Joseph's Church on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
