Obituary of Ronald William Rose

ROSE, Ronald - At Bluewater Health on Friday, January 23, 2015, Ronald Rose of Vision Rest Home, Sarnia (formerly of Point Edward and St. Thomas) died at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Georgette (2013) for 57 years. Loving father of Daniel Rose & wife Melanie, Port Stanley, Jayne Collier & husband Al, Sarnia and Julie Bear & husband Jeff, St. Thomas. Proud grandfather of Joseph Rose (Shanna) & Lauren Rose (Jed), Terresa Douglass (Rod), Andrea Crespo (Alvaro), Kyle & Emily Scott, Alexandria (Scott) & Paige Bear. Cherished great-grandfather of Caitlyn & Chloe Douglass, Luca & Talia Crespo. Dear brother of Beverly Cook. Also survived and greatly loved by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents John & Leah Rose, daughter Lorri Maitland, granddaughter Christina Rose, brother Jack Rose Jr. and sisters Shirley Wright and Lois Ferris. He will be forever missed but lovingly remembered by all who loved and knew him. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 Wednesday at the MCKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. Spring interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
