Obituary of Miklos Szabo

SZABO, MIKLOS "MIKE" – At Vision Nursing Home on Saturday, November 23, 2013, Miklos "Mike" Szabo died at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Claudette Szabo. Loving father of the late Mike (1995), Garry and Ron & his wife Gloria, all of Sarnia Cherished grandfather of Kaity, Mathew, Jordan, Ashley and Trevor. Dear brother-in-law of Therese Poirier, Hilaire Seguin, Fernande Ferlatte, Gaston Seguin, Pierrette Gagne and Norman Seguin. Also survived by his niece Susan Dombovary and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Barbabos & Elizabeth, brother Joseph & his wife Vali and several other brothers and sisters-in-law. Mike was a Bricklayer and a member of the Bricklayers Union, Local 23 for over 50 years. Family was Mike's passion as well as his love for his garden. He was member of the Golden Age Club of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Mike will be missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on 5-7 p.m. Friday November 29th. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel following visitation at 7 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Mukucha. Cremation will follow. Private family interment Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
