Obituary of Mariana Gloria DaSilva

DASILVA, Mariana – At Afton Park Place on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Abel (2001). Dear mother of Madalena DaSilva (Eduardo Medeiros), David DaSilva (Connie), Joao DaSilva (Maria), Angelica Morgado (Joe), Filomena DaSilva and Otilia DaPonte (Eduardo). Loving grandmother of Maria Moniz (Jose), Salome Bem (David), Anna Moniz (Manuel), Dina Arruda (Mario), David Medeiros, Lilia Marques (John), Celia Couto (Lee), Sergio DaSilva (Jenny), Christina DaSilva (George), Danny DaSilva (Debbie), Victor DaSilva (Vanessa), Nelson DaSilva (Tanya), Jennifer Anderson (Simon), Leslie Vignon (Paul), Alexander DaPonte (Lily) and Chantel DaPonte. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren. Mariana is also survived by a sister Olivia Lima. Predeceased by a son Manuel & his wife Coralia (1985) and by grandsons Mark DaSilva (1995) and Eduardo Medeiros (2002). Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
