Obituary of Clifford Michaud

MICHAUD, Clifford – Peacefully, with his family by his side, Clifford passed away at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Grace (Courtemanche). Dear father of Lise (Brian Pikkert) Michaud, Sarnia and Carol (Bill) McKnight, Bright’s Grove. Loving grandpa of Natalie Carriere (Shawn Dutrizac), Justin Carriere, Shannon Pikkert and Riley Pikkert. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Brother of Rose-Anne Rodney, Montreal, Leo (Yvette) Michaud, Montreal, Albeo (Yvette) Michaud, Laval, Clarence (Hugette) Michaud, Montreal. Predeceased by brothers Michel, Aurel and Hermel Michaud and sisters Annette Castonguay, Ida Martin, Anita Tremblay and Gracia Michaud. Clifford’s family was truly his pride and joy. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knight’s of Columbus, a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Church Choir, Le Club de Gaiete (previously L’Age d’Or) and was very active with both the Knights and his parish. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday from 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Kathemo Mukucha at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
