Obituary of Randall Gauvreau

GAUVREAU, Randall Clayton – The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost their number one fan.  Surrounded by his family, Randall Gauvreau died suddenly in London on February 28th at the age of 52.  Loving father of Crystal Fach & her partner Julie Hazzard, Sarnia.  Cherished pere of Keegan and Ethan Kauppinen.  Beloved son of Laurent & Florida Gauvreau, Guelph.  Dear brother of Karen Pagnan, (Ron Patterson) Arthur Gauvreau (Donna), Craig  Gauvreau (Sheila) , Alexander Gauvreau (Michelle), Leslie Gauvreau, all of Guelph and Wendy  Gauvreau (Paul Apostolou), Mississauga.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Randy had a passion for all sports but he lived and breathed hockey. An amazing story teller, Randy loved to make people laugh.  Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd., 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.  Tributes will be given in memory of Randy at 3 p.m.  Cremation to follow.  Private family interment will take place in Guelph at a later date.  Randy’s kindness & generosity will be missed by all who knew him.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may forward memorial donations to Sarnia-Lambton Rebound, 10 Lorne Crescent, Sarnia, ON N7S 1H8.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com.
