Obituary of Winnifred May Johnson

JOHNSON, Winnifred May – At Bluewater Health on Thursday, April 26, 2012, Winnie died at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Gerald (1972).  Loving mother of Jerry (Nancy), Don, Bob (Darlene) and Judy McDougall (Nitin Badhwar).  Proud Nanny of Bryan (Alenka), Laura (Jeremy), Allison, Morgan, Sydney, Jennifer (Jim), Kevin, Stacey (Chris), Andrew, Taylor, Cierra.  Winnie will also be remembered by her great-grandchildren Ashton, Raegan, Tyler, Jordynn, Kyle, Olivia, Amber and Ashley.   Dear sister of Jim (Jeanette) Malyon and sister-in-law of Jean Malyon.  Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Sarah Malyon and her siblings Alf (Winnie), Bud, and Connie (Tom) Cowhey.  Special thanks to the 4th Floor General Medicine Nurses and Staff at Bluewater Health.  Special thanks also to Dr. Michael Stoesser for his longstanding care, always delivered with humour and compassion. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday from 7-9 p.m.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Tuesday, May 1st at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Jim Higgins officiating.  Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 546 N.
