Obituary of Stephen Butler

BUTLER, Stephen Joseph – August 11, 1924-January 3, 2012, peacefully and bravely passed away at Bluewater Health Palliative Care at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 62 years to Catherine (Overholt). Proud father of Mark & his wife Linda, St. Thomas, Karen & her husband Douglas Durant, Welland, Paul & his wife Sandy, Sarnia and Patricia Butler whom he was predeceased by.  Steve was also the loving grandfather of Erin Durant & her husband Nuno Pereira, Joel Butler, Jessica Butler, Katie Durant, Dylan Butler, Samantha Butler and the great-grandfather of Owen Pereira. An avid golfer throughout his life, Steve perfected his game by achieving several holes-in-one. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the medical staff of Sarnia Bluewater Health for their outstanding care.
