I was around 5 , and new to the High Park neighborhood, when I met Celestino, who was 17. I'd never met anyone like him, and when a relative of mine was diagnosed with autism, I looked back and had a better understanding of Celestino. One funny memory was him taking a lawnmower and a strip out of everyone's grass. Another was when he wore his sister's bikini over his own clothes, and sat in a puddle after a flood. I hope he's gone on to a better place, with angels, not demons. His Hispanic eye should find peace.
