Obituary of Betty Kumchy

KUMCHY, “Betty” Ivy Elizabeth (nee O’Connell) – At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, Betty died at the age 89. Beloved wife of the late George Kumchy (1992). Loving mother of Dr. Gayle Kumchy and her husband Dr. Tim Putnam. Dear sister of Lionel and his wife Mary O’Connell and Armour and his wife Marlene O’Connell; and sister-in-law of Betty O’Connell. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents John and Ivy O’Connell and her brother Jack O’Connell. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at St. Joseph’s Church on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
