Obituary of Fran Barker

BARKER, “Fran” Francoise Malvena – At her home on Sunday, May 18, 2008, Fran died peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Donald Barker (1997). Loving mother of Marcel Lavoie and his wife Diane Moreau of Montreal, Lyette Lavoie of Sarnia, and Peter and his wife Bonnie Barker of North Bay. Proud grandmother of six. Dear sister of Jeanette (Claude) Nole, Smooth Rock Falls, Gilberte (Gerald) Hurtubise and Denise Francoeur, Kapuskasing, Robert Francoeur, Ottawa, Jean-Paul (Pierette) Francoeur, Smooth Rock Falls, Euclide (Joey) Francoeur, Brampton, and Michel (Cindy) Francoeur, Timmins. Predeceased by her parents Jean and Alexandrine Francoeur and her sister Gertrude Laberge. Fran will be sadly missed, yet lovingly remembered by all who loved her. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, May 22nd from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bali Swarath officiating. Cremation to follow with a private interment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
