Obituary of Wayne Verne Snider

SNIDER, WAYNE VERNE – Suddenly in Woodstock, Georgia on Sunday, June 1, 2008, Wayne Snider of Bright’s Grove died at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Lynn (Harman). Dear father of Wendy Henry & her husband Mark, Woodstock, Georgia, Deborah Scott & her husband William, Amherstburg, and Brian Snider & his wife Leanne, Sarnia. Loving Papa of Kathryn, Kelsey, Megan, Cameron, Duncan and Zachary. Brother of Marilyn Lindsay & her husband Warren, Faye Buck & her husband Eddie and Donna Briethwaite & her husband Doug all of Hanover. Brother-in-law of Dave Grinnell, Toronto. Predeceased by parents Verne & Clara Snider and sister Sharon Grinnell. Wayne was the vice-president (finance) at Cabot Carbon, retiring in 1994. Wayne was past president and actively involved with the Sarnia Sting Hockey Booster Club. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St., N, Sarnia on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. officiated by Bill Strachan.
