Obituary of Nuno Medeiros Pacheco

PACHECO, Nuno Medeiros – At his home where he loved to be, with loving family by his side, Nuno died on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Maria Margarida Pacheco for 40 years. Loving father of Rick Pacheco, Brenda & Victor Branco and Philip & Stacey Pacheco. Proud Vavô of Cassandra, Tyler and Mikayla Branco. Nuno was recently happy to find out about another grandchild on the way, his namesake Cruz Pacheco. Dear brother of Ligia (Antonio M.) Pacheco, Octavio (Gorgina) Pacheco, Arlete (Jorge) Garçia, Antonio Pacheco, Adelaide Pacheco and Fatima (Jorge) Medeiros. Nuno is also survived by his wife’s brothers and sisters, their spouses, many special nieces and nephews and dear cousins that will hold him deep in their hearts. He also had many close friends in Sarnia, London and throughout the world. Nuno was a master carpenter and very passionate about his work. He loved soccer and his favorite team was FC Porto. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday, May 26th from 5-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at St. Benedict’s Church on Wednesday, May 27th at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
