Obituary of Leo Joseph Vilkas

VILKAS – At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, LEO J.VILKAS died peacefully at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late M. Anne (Lambertus). Loving father of Kathie Vilkas-Fraser & her husband Mike, Prince George, B.C., and Michelle Vilkas & her partner Ian Mason, Richmond Hill, ON. Cherished grandpa of Madison & Aidan Fraser. Also survived by his father-in-law Thomas J. Lambertus and nieces & nephews. Leo’s passion in life was his family and dear friends. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all those that were touched by his life. Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia where prayers will be offered at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
