Obituary of Gisele Aline Bruno

BRUNO, Gisele Aline – At Vision Nursing Home on Monday, August 4th , 2014 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late David (1983). Loving mother of Annette (Al) St. Jean, Sarnia. Dear loving grandmother of Allan, Joanne, Mike (Brooke) and Jamie (Alyssa). Cherished great grandmother of Ryan, Ashley, Randy, Jessie, Aiden, Mya, Aaryk, Tyler, Ethan and Jade Lee. Great-great grandmother of Audrey, Katie, Olivia, Jakob and Cole. Sister of Cecile Larouche. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A special thank you to Gisele's niece Patricia Sparks who provided exceptional love and support in her last weeks. Predeceased by her parents Alcidas & Caroline Lajoie, son Denis (1970) and brothers Emile, Raynald and Leo. Gisele's passion was her family and she loved spending time with them. She was a kind and caring women always putting the needs of others first. She liked to bowl and enjoyed watching golf. Gisele loved to play cards and was part of the Golden Age Club at the church. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Vision Nursing Home for the compassionate care they gave Gisele during her stay there. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Kathemo Makucha at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Friday, August 8th., 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
