Obituary of Phyllis Denley

DENLEY, Phyllis (Knight) – In the loving arms of Jesus on January 11, 2010 at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia, formerly of Mooretown, Phyllis died at the age of 83. She was born on November 5, 1926 in Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Joseph (1983). Dear mother of Richard (Ineke) Denley, Hamilton, Joanne (Melvin) White, Brigden, David (Lise) Denley, Sarnia, Mary (Richard) Hartle, Sarnia and Jonathon Denley, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Melissa, John, Elizabeth, Amanda, Andrew and Jason. Great-grandmother of Cameron, Jackson, Nolan, Carter and Hannah. Sister-in-law of William Dunbar, Davison, Michigan. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Percy & Isabella Knight, grandson Mathew White (1991), sister Jean Dunbar (2008), brother and sister-in-law James & Patricia Knight (2007) and by brother and sister-in-law Herbert & Maxine Denley. Many thanks to the staff of Trillium Villa and to Dr. Borek for their loving care of Mom. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Corunna.
