Obituary of Madelyn Mary Natalie Thompson
THOMPSON - At Bluewater Health - Palliative Care on Wednesday, January 17, 2007. MADELYN MARY NATALIE (DESCHAMPS) THOMPSON, age 73 of Point Edward. Beloved wife of the late Alonzo (Lonnie). Dear mother of David & his wife Cindy, Plano, Texas, Lonnie & wife Bernadette, Mooretown, Robert & his wife Micheline, Corunna, Colleen Lavers & her husband Joseph, Corunna and Mary Beth Billick & her husband John, London. Mother-in-law of Richard Sim, Sicamous, B.C. Grandmother of Christopher and Katherine Thompson, Daniel and Michael Thompson, Sara and Emma Thompson, Jon (Diana) and Katie Lavers, Natalie and John Billick and Meryn, Emmy and Glynis Sim. Great-grandmother of Elisha. Predeceased by parents Jules & Martha Deschamps, brother Charles Deschamps, infant son John and daughter Maureen Sim. Madelyn was an active volunteer with many organizations in both the Sarnia and Wallaceburg communities. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia. Prayers will be offered at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Wes Gutowski on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church. Interment Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Bluewater Health Palliative Care and Dr. Glen Maddison.
