Obituary of Real Joseph Theriault

THERIAULT, Real Joseph - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, Real Theriault, age 72 of Sarnia was called home to heaven. Real was born in Paquetville Parish, Gloucester New Brunswick March 19,1943. Beloved soul-mate and best friend of the late Betty Viney (1999). Loving and dedicated brother to nine siblings, Joe (Mary), Raymonde (the late Rene Leblanc), Denise (Luke Charron), Bishop Donald Theriault, Sister Lina Theriault, Jon (Patricia), Peter (Gayla), Roger and Gerry. Special friend to George (Rose) Viney, Beverly (Greg) Lines, Lorraine (Peter) Smith, Margaret Viney and the late Darcey Viney (2006). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Raymond (2005) and Philomene (nee Noel) Theriault (2004). Real was retired from Fiberglass Canada. His hobbies included reading, gardening, watching sports and spending time with his family. Real was full of wisdom, a man who observed and understood many things, but never judged anyone. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Real’s life will be held immediately following visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 Christina St. N., Sarnia, N7T 5W3.
