TURNER, Douglas Owen - At Bluewater Health on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (2007). Dear father of Heather (Richard) Fraser, Scarborough and the late Beverley Townsend. Loving grandfather of Glenn and Stuart Fraser. Brother of Dick (Joyce) Turner, Windsor and Ron (Laurie) Turner, St. Catharines. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Doug was born in…..and taught….. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 12-12:45. The funeral service will be held immediately following in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. TURNER, Douglas Owen - At Bluewater Health on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (2007). Father of Heather (Richard) Fraser, Toronto and the late Beverley Townsend (2002). Grandfather of Glenn and Stuart Fraser. Brother of Dick (Joyce) Turner, Windsor and Ron (Laurie) Turner, St. Catharines. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Doug was born in Windsor and taught at SCI&TS, Central and Northern. He was Head of History Depts for over 30 years and Past President of the Sarnia Historical Society. He loved traveling, playing bridge and was a life-long Detroit Tigers fan. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 12-12:45.
