Obituary of David Charles Palmer
PALMER, David Charles - On Friday, November 20, 2015, David died at the age of 54. Loving son of Marilyn & the late Phillip Palmer. Cherished brother of Brian, Ken (Ellen) & Ron Palmer. Dear nephew of Rita Silvestri (Nino) & Jean Knight (Doug) and the late Bill & Don Arnold. Also survived by his nieces Briar, Madison and Randi and many cousins. David was born in Sarnia. He attended St. Patrick’s High School and earned a BA from Western University and a Masters in Economics at the University of Waterloo. David was employed at Utility Corporations in Canada and the United States and taught Economics at Baker College in Michigan. David played hockey during his teens and continued to enjoy the game from a spectator’s point of view. He volunteered in many charitable organizations in Sarnia during his life time. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held for David & his grandmother Phyllis Meade at Sacred Heart Church, Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
