Obituary of Attilio Colussi

COLUSSI, Attilio – Surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Mariangela for 54 years. Dear father of George (Katherine) Colussi, Sarnia, Laura (Brian) Ross, Corunna and Mara Colussi (James), Victoria, B.C. Loving Nonno of Daniel (Renae) Colussi, Matthew (Heather) Colussi, Thomas Colussi, Olivia Colussi, Talia and Alexander Ross. Bisnonno of Ella Colussi. Brother of Peter (Santina) Colussi, Australia, Imelda Colussi, Rome, Italy, Ardilia Colussi, Casarsa, Italy and Ermelinda Colussi, Milan, Italy. Predeceased by parents Luigi & Maria Colussi, brothers Elia and Ferruccio Colussi and sisters Guiditta and Rita Colussi. Attilio came to Canada in May of 1955. He has resided in Sarnia since 1960 and was a self employed mason. Attilio loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid gardener and truly enjoyed playing bocci with his friends at the Dante Club. Attilio's family would like to thank Dr. Maddison and the staff of Palliative Care for the care given to him during his stay there. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict's Church on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
