Obituary of Judith Dianne Gagnon
GAGNON, Judy (née Hewitt) - After many years of health struggles, Judith Dianne Gagnon died peacefully, with family by her side, at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Ron for 32 years. Dear sister of Jim (Judy) Hewitt, Paul Hewitt, Linda (John) Bree and Liz (Bob) Maniuk; and sister-in-law of Jane (Jim) D'Arcy. Proud aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Francis and Muriel Hewitt and brother Jerry Hewitt. Judy enjoyed tending to her garden, cooking and baking, trips to Bear Skin Lodge and caring for her pets over the years. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Trillium Villa for their love and care of Judy the last 2 ½ years. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Steve Marsh on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may forward memorial donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St., Sarnia, ON N7T 5M3.
