Obituary of Terrance Wayne Gray
GRAY, Terrance Wayne - Suddenly at home, Terry “TW” Gray, died on Monday, April, 4, 2016 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Deborah for 45 years. Loving father of Shawn Gray (Jennifer Mullins), Sarnia, Darryl Gray (Julie Moore), Corunna, Adam Gray (Erica De Jong), Sarnia and the late Erin Gray. Step-grandfather of Maggie, Karley & Kwade Mullins. Dear son-in-law of Bill & Marlene Brown, Sarnia and brother-in-law of Gregory Brown (Carolyn), Brooklyn, ON and Melanie Perz (John), Sarnia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Annabelle & George Gray and his brother Bill Gray. Terry was an Engineer with a P.Eng, and a Professional Consulting designation. He was the founder and owner of T.W. Gray & Associates, Engineering Ltd., Sarnia (est. 1980). Living on the water was important to Terry, especially the time he spent on his boat with family and friends on the St. Clair River or at his home away from home in Key West. Over his career Terry was affiliated with many different organizations and was a supporter of many local sports teams and charitable events. He was a member of the local Parrot Heads Group. TW loved memorabilia and had an amazing collection of juke boxes and other collectibles. He was proud of the success his sons had achieved in their lives. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday April 8, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of TW’s life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Saturday, April 9th at 11:00 a.m. officiated by the Rev. Deanna Gibson. Cremation to follow with a private interment at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to charity of choice. A tree will be planted in memory of TW Gray in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 18th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
