Obituary of Elizabeth Agnes Hoover

HOOVER, ELIZABETH, AGNES - On Monday, June 6, 2016, Elizabeth (Betty) Hoover peacefully passed away surrounded by family at St. Joseph's Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved wife of Robert Hoover. Loving mother of Lynda Tighe (Daniel), Point Edward, Leslie Hoover (Sonia), Sarnia, Diane De Block (John), London, and Mary Catherine Scott (Brian), London. Cherished grandmother of Andrea Pole (Rob) and (the late Dan Patterson), Todd Hoover (Audrey), Krista Chicoine (Mike), Sandra Gerber (Chris), Karen Dennis, Cheryl Carroll (Mike), Shannon Gregory (Chris), Courtney De Block, Jennifer Scott (Nick), Rachelle (Shelley) Tighe (deceased), and great-grandmother of eighteen. Betty is predeceased by her parents Robert & Agnes Todd and brother Gordon Todd. Betty was a life-member of Delta Chi Sigma Sorority, long time member of I.O.D.E., and an active member of Grace United Church. She was an avid bridge player and a world traveller. Cremation has taken place. Betty's family invites all friends to a funeral service at Grace United Church, Sarnia on Friday, June 10 at 11 a.m. A private interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
