"To know Laura was to Love Laura" GRAYSON, Laura - My mom, my friend, my mentor died peacefully in my arms at her home. Surrounded by the love of friends, she took her last breath with all the grace & dignity she lived by all her life. In the 88 years of her life she lived each and every day with zest, awareness and a genuine love for the smallest things that she encountered. Life for mom was expressed with kindness and an open heart. She taught me by example how to be happy, how to be confident and I now am going to honour her by carrying her love with me on my life journey. Laura was predeceased by her parents Dorothy & William Speers, brother Harold Speers and her sisters Mary-Ann Ryan and Doreen Herbert. In honouring Laura's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life service will be held at a later date.
