Obituary of Jane Dalton

DALTON, B. Jane (McPhail) – At L.H.S.C. University Campus on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Bill for 58 years. Dear mother of Ronald (Linda) Dalton, Kingston, Patricia (Maurice) Deschenes, Bright’s Grove, Maureen Parking (Al Stephenson), Wallaceburg and Derek (Donna) Dalton, Oakville. Loving grandmother of Michael (Angela) Dalton and Meghan (Bryan) Dalton, Janine, Danielle and Renee Deschenes, Alyssa Parking and Catherine and Grace Dalton. Great-grandmother of Owen. Sister of Peter (Jennie) McPhail, Sarnia and David (Sharon) McPhail, Point Edward. Sister-in-law of Alta Johnston (late Patrick). Predeceased by parents Glenn & Helen McPhail, infant brother Ronald and brothers-in-law Thomas (Madlyn), Leo (Peggy) and Eric Dalton. Jane was a life long member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Women’s League. She will be greatly missed by her bridge club friends (many of whom have been friends since high school) as well as her yoga and coffee club friends. Jane & Bill enjoyed many vacations together and she cherished her time spent with family. Visitation will be at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, October. 30, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Monday, October 31 at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
