Obituary of Joseph Henry Sewell

SEWELL, Joseph Henry - At Bluewater Health on Friday, December 23, 2016 with his children by his side, Joseph died at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 60 years of the late Vera (2011). Loving father of Joseph (Dawn) Sewell, Angela (Mike) Clayton, Karen Sewell and Gail (Jeff) Forget. Proud grandpa of Tammy Lynn, Sean, Carl, Christopher, Melanie, Rodney, Ryan, Danielle, Logan, Andre and Devin; and great-grandfather of Jordan, Misty, Ally, Auston, Kayla, Reigen, Aiden, Emma, Zoe and Ethan and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Brother of Myrtle Vint, Violet (Jim) Mcclenaghan, Albert (Pat) Sewell, Hazel (Roy) Leckey, Maria (Dennis) Watson, Bobby (Elsa) Sewell and Maureen (Frank) Leitch. Predeceased by brothers Geordie, William and James. Joe retired from Ontario Hydro in 1993. This allowed him more time to enjoy his passion for antiques and collectables. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. The memorial service will be held immediately following in the chapel at 11 a.m. A family interment will take place at a later date.
