JANUS, HENRYK, ADAM, Surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health, Henryk Janus died suddenly on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Irena (2009). Loving father of Roman Janus & his wife Malgorzata. Cherished grandfather of Katarzyna Mantha & her husband Ryan. Special great-grandfather of Thomas & John Mantha. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ignacy & Zofia Janus and his 3 siblings. Henryk was a Steel Mill Operator by trade. He moved to Sarnia in 2009 after the death of his wife to be closer to his family. He loved to read and bike but his passion was spending time with his great-grandchildren. He was a proud member of the Polish Alliance. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Zbigniew Rodzinka at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4th at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
