Obituary of Paul Frederick Kingston
KINGSTON, PAUL FREDERICK - Paul Kingston at the age of 83, passed away on Monday May 29, 2017 at Strathroy Hospital. By his side were Shari Kingston his beloved wife and lifelong partner, and their children Meghan, Michael and Scott Kingston, the loves of his life. Loving father to Paul & Debra Kingston, Kerry & Terry Rogers and Christine & Ron Cross. Cherished grandfather to Paul Kingston Jr., Tina & Pat Rogers, Russell, Mitchell, Emily and Kathleen Cross. Special great-grandfather to Serenity Rogers. Big brother to Thom Kingston, Mary & Ron Mansfield, George & Laura Kingston, Robert & Tracy Kingston, Florence & Paul Dyck and Bill & Deb Kingston. Predeceased by his parents Frederick & Gertrude Kingston and nephew Nathan Kingston. Paul aspired to be trustworthy, reliable, responsible, astute, sincere and fair. These values he felt important to instill in his children, who he considered to be his greatest accomplishments. He felt great pride in seeing them grow up and being successful in their chosen careers. Paul entered the work force in the chemical valley and later built and operated "Kingston's Cove" his business in Camlachie for 45 years. He also served two terms as a Councillor for Plympton-Wyoming and was the first Fire Chief of Camlachie's Volunteer Fire Dept. When Paul wasn't utilizing his many talents repairing and fixing everything imaginable, he enjoyed sun, surf and sand and having a cold beer and good food with family and friends. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following visitation on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow with a private family interment to be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society, 556 N.
