My condolences to Bruce's family. I knew him because my mother lived in the same building as him for years. He was always so incredibly kind to her and it was so appreciated. He would often bring her flowers and he would often regale us with tales of his years on the boats. I didn't see him as often in the 2 years since my mother passed away, but whenever I saw him out and about he'd always have a kind word for me. He will be missed, and I'm sorry for the loss.
