Obituary of Maria Nenita McLean

MCLEAN, Maria Nenita - Suddenly at Bluewater Health, Nenita McLean died on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the age of 80.  Beloved wife of over 40 years to John Gerald "Jack" McLean.  Loving mother of Leonardo, Victor & Gerardo Brinas, Josefina Alilion (Melencio) and Junette Brinas.  Step-mother of John McLean, Robert (Janet) McLean and Steven McLean.  Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother.  Dear sister of Jose Villaron and Bishop Armando de la Cruz.  Sister-in-law of Paul McLean, Jean McIntyre, Mary Fort and Judy McIntyre.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Nicanor & Eustaquia Villaran.  Nenita was a teacher in the Philippines before coming to Canada.  She had several jobs, the last being a custodian with the Lambton Separate School Board.  Nenita had the voice of an angel and loved to sing.  You could always find her tending to her gardens or decorating her home. She will be forever loved.  Visitation will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, where prayers will be offered at 3:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
