Craig Robertson died peacefully with family by his side, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Bluewater Health. Beloved husband of Laurine "Laurie"(nee Bathe) for 39 years. Dear brother of Neil Robertson (Helen) Kitchener, Norma Haraldsson (Orn), Cobourg, Corinne Robertson-Brown (William), Kincardine and Denise Robertson, Sarnia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Helen & Donald Robertson. Born in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay) Craig moved to Sarnia with his family in 1942 at the age of 2. Craig was a Research Technician with Imperial Oil Research Lab for 32 years. After retiring from Imperial Oil, he worked for over 15 years with the Sarnia Commissionars. He had a passion for racing formula cars. In the 60's Craig raced his own formula four car at Mosport and many other race tracks across Canada. Craig had many hobbies including building and sailing remote control sail boats, wood working, stain glass and hang gliding. A giving man who would help anyone anytime, Craig will be missed and warmly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday, May 25th, 2018 from 7 - 9 p.m. A Celebration of Craig's life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Saturday, May 25th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Wyoming Public Cemetery.
