Obituary of Marie Anne Côté

CÔTÉ, Marie Anne – Marie Anne died on Friday, June 29, 2018 in the loving care of the Vision Nursing Home staff at the age of 101. She was born on February 5, 1917 in Eel River, N.B. to Frank Roy & Emilia (Phillip) and was the third of six children. Marie Anne took great pride in loving and caring for her large family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 5 siblings, her husband Louis – the love of her life – her eldest child Leonide Côté and sons-in-law Lewis Stone and Ray Drysdale. She is survived by 11 children Loraine Stone, Armond (Sylvie) Côté, Evelyn (Gil) Côté -Cyr, Yvon (Frances) Côté, Angela Drysdale, Irene (Jim) Duffield, Andrew (Lucy) Côté, John (Claudette) Côté, Jean (John) Ouellette, Daniel (Karen) Côté and David (Anna) Côté, 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Marie Anne will be remembered as a loving, family centered, and faith filled person. The Côté family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Vision Nursing Home for their attentive and loving care. Friends and family will be received at McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St. Sarnia on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 7 - 9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
