Obituary of James Thomas Meyers

MEYERS, James Thomas “Jim” – At Bluewater Health, Sarnia, on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Maria (Lazzeretti)(Iacobelli). Dear father of Sandra Lea Meyers and Robert James Meyers. Grandfather of Jacqueline Lea Johnson (Robert) and Gregory Daniel Bader. Great-grandfather of Finnegan Liam Johnson and Evangeline Rose Johnson. Step-father of Cecil Iacobelli (Emilia) and Eric Iacobelli. Step-grandfather of Bianca and Sofia Iacobelli. Jim was born in Carsonville, MI. He was the son of the late Thomas & Ruby Meyers and was a longtime crop farmer in Carsonville. Jim married Maria and moved to Sarnia in 1985. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, Ontario on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
