Once passed, our legacy is what we leave behind. Although I don't believe I ever met John, I know both sons John and Justin -- and know what a legacy of faith and service he left. It's not a wish but a declaration -- He will rest in the Peace of his Risen Lord.

Our most deepest condolences to the Cooper family.
Pastor John and Bea were good friends and distant family to us (the Krul's/Nyland family) on Bea's side, in Acton CRC. I have fond memories of growing up with them and celebrating milestones within our family. Weddings officiated by him and anniversaries and birthdays enjoyed together. My fondest memory was feeding the pony, that lived beside the parsonage in Acton, carrots with Pastor John and laughing together about how noisy that pony ate. Also he would enjoy pushing me very high in the swingset they had on their side yard.
My parents, John and Thea Krul would also like the family to know that John will be missed and they are thankful he is with his father this day in that splendid, most glorious of places. Mom called John every year on his birthday and said she will miss that chance to catch up now.
Our prayers are with each of you as you move forward in time without him here.
Peace and blessings,
Trish, Joel and Emma Heslinga and John and Thea Krul.
