Obituary of Raffaele Giacomo Fanelli

FANELLI, Raffaele Giacomo – With his family by his side, Raffaele Fanelli died at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of Anna for 53 years.  Loving father of Tony Fanelli (Gina), Sarnia, Frank Fanelli & his wife Chrissy and Clara Gifford & her husband Kyle, Strathroy.  Cherished nonno of Alyssa Fanelli (her mother Shelley), Chiara Gifford and Matteo Fanelli.  Dear brother–in-law of Nicola Morelli and Antonio Morelli (Maria).  Predeceased by his parents Antonio & Chiara Fanelli, siblings; Adelina Marocco, Beneditto Fanelli, Onoria Viti, Franceso Fanelli, Rosina D’Agostini and Luigi Fanelli, sister-in-law Giovanna Morelli. Raffaele worked as a labourer with the 1089 Labourers Union.  His passion in life was his family.  Spending time with his children and grandchildren gave him great joy.  He enjoyed working in his garden and going for long drives in the country.  Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 7th at 10 a.m. Entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum.
