Obituary of William Anthony Dunlop
DUNLOP, WILLIAM ANTHONY – At Sumac Lodge on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, Bill Dunlop died at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 63 years to Jacqueline “Jackie”. Loving father of Marty & his wife Gaye, Kingston, Jenny Leenhouts & late Peter, B.C., Chuck & his wife Barbara, Sherwood Park, AB, and Jeffrey, Sherwood Park, AB. Cherished grandfather of the late Jamie, Lauren, Stephen, Adam, Allison, Rebecca, Adrian & Ryan. Special great-grandfather of 4. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James & Margaret Dunlop, brothers Jim, Pat, John, Don and sisters Maria, Toni, Jean, Margaret, Theresa. Bill retired from Dow Chemical after 35 years of service. He was a very active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and was a member 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will be held in the parish hall following mass.
