Obituary of Marguerite Geraldine Smyth
SMYTH, Marguerite nee Ward, June 2, 1927-May 1, 2019. Marguerite was the loving wife of the late Jack Smyth. Also predeceased by her siblings Marie Smyth, Jack and Gerry Ward, Bill and Joyce Ward. Loving mother of Nan and the late Bill Smyth, Jackie and Gerard Prentice and David and Judy Smyth. Grandmother of Carrie and the late Mark Mousseau, Charlene and Terry McWatters, Colleen and Sheldon Page, Sara Prentice, Shannon and Shaun Bolton, Kate and Brian Bailey. Great-grandmother of 8 and great-great-grandmother of 1. Marguerite and Jack worked together as owners of Smyth’s Market for many years. There will be no funeral home visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 12 noon. Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N.
