Obituary of Diane Dyson
DYSON, Diane – Surrounded by her loving family, at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care, Diane Dyson died on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Gerald (2010). Loving mother of Jeannette (Gary) Wicks, Sarnia, Marlene (Mike) Desroches, Point Edward and Philip (Amy) Dyson, Cambridge. Cherished grandmother of Chris, Brad, Aaron and Jeffrey Wicks, the late Natasha (2013), Anastasia and Mikayla Desroches and Danny, Jake and Greg Dyson. Dear sister of Jean Stonehouse. Sister-in-law of Deirdre (Bob) Humston-Coates, and Colette (Eli) Kocso. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Minnie Scanlon and by niece Terry Ager (Stonehouse). Diane will be sadly missed by her loving dog and "best friend" Sadie as well as her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Diane’s life centered around her family and spending time with them gave her great joy. She was so very proud of her grandchildren and never failed to take the chance to tell people about them. Diane loved to read and do word puzzles. She was a caring and giving person, who would welcome anybody and everybody into her home. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Kim, and the teams on the Palliative Care and I.C.U. wards for their compassionate care of Mom through her final journey. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, August 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
