Obituary of Mary Patricia Casey

CASEY, Mary Patricia “Pat” – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pat Casey. Surrounded by her family, Pat peacefully crossed over at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the age of 75.  Beloved wife of Norman. Dear mother of Pamela Noon (Kevin), Sarnia and Anita Nethercott (Michael), Sarnia. Adored Granny of Jordan Croskery, Amanda Noon, Matt Noon, Kyle Noon, Krystal Waller, Jacob Waller and Joshua Nethercott and beloved Great-Granny of Emilia. Predeceased by parents John & Mary McCluskey. Pat immigrated with her parents from Dublin, Ireland to Montreal, Canada where she met and married her husband, Norman. They eventually relocated to Sarnia, Ontario where they grew their family and made many lifelong friendships. Pat cherished her time with her loving family and friends and graciously dedicated much of her retirement to volunteering for The Inn of the Good Shepperd and Rayjon. Pat was an avid reader and lover of witty jokes and keepsakes. Granny will be lovingly remembered by her nurturing warmth and unconditional love which she embraced everyone who was blessed to know her with. Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, October 19^th, 2019 at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends in the parish hall immediately after Mass. Interment to take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.
